Painting Rain Barrels to Inspire Water Conservation

Congratulations to Ms. Federman’s Painting and Mixed Media classes!  The classes were broken down into small groups and assigned an artist to research. After gathering important information and creating some sketches inspired by the famous artist, students submitted their proposals for rain barrels to the Regional Storm Water collaborative group.  The group selected all 8 of the proposals for rain barrels! These barrels will be worked on during class and completed by the end of March.  The barrels will be on display at the Cincinnati Zoo in April and  auctioned off on April 18th at the Party for the Planet event.

For more information about the Rain Barrel Project, visit www.savelocatwaters.org.
