Studio Art AP Meets The Big Pig Goal!

With the help of the Oak Hills community (alumni, students, local businesses), the Studio Art AP students were able to raise the funds for the 2 pigs that they will be creating as part of ArtWorks’ Big Pig Gig.  They actually exceeded the amount raised which allows us to jazz up the pigs with some extra fabrication pieces (like wings and a tam hat)!  Any remaining funding that we recieve will be put towards the cost of materials and creating a pig pen for the seated pig in the art courtyard.  The pigs should be arriving sometime within the next week or so, you won’t be able to miss them!

We thank you all so much for all of your support and shared excitement about this rare opportunity that the Studio Art AP students can now be a part of!

STUDIO ART AP IS PIGGIN’ OUT

For the last 2 weeks, Studio Art AP 2D Design and Drawing students have been diligently working to raise money for 2 of the ArtWorks Big Pig Gig Pigs as a part of their Legacy Project for the end of the year.  The excitement and anticipation of the arrival of the Pigs is spreading throughout the school- and the enthusiasm is contagious.  This week, students recieved funding for 1 of the Pigs from the Oak Hills Alumni Association in sponsorship with the Oak Hills Educational Foundation!  That brings the totally collected to a little under $5,000…leaving us with just $2,000 left to raise!  Please help us out by showing your support with a donation!  Any amount is appreciated!
