BLINK is back for 2019 and the OHHS National Art Honor Society is gearing up to prepare for this year’s parade!

Returning October 10-13th 2019, BLINK is one of the largest light, art, and projection mapping events in the nation. The four-day event features large-scale projection mapping installations, murals, urban artscapes, media light and interactive art in Cincinnati, OH. BLINK spans 30+ city blocks, from the Kentucky River Banks to Cincinnati’s Findlay Market. Food and beverages are available at the event. BLINK is free and open to the public – no tickets are required.
The OHHS NAHS was a part of the inaugural parade in 2017 and will be participating again this year!
This year NAHS is stepping up their game and constructing a 30-foot human-powered illuminated “Nessie” float AND creating lighted lanterns in eyeball and bubble designs that our parade participants will carry. NAHS members, and students from Mr. Couch’s Advanced AutoCAD class, have been hard at work since the beginning of the school year to make our contribution to the BLINK parade dazzle. Check out the progress here:

The parade will take place on October 10th at 7:30 pm and will travel from 8th & Vine St. down Vine to W. Freedom Way at the Banks. Be sure to mark your calendars for this amazing event and cheer the OHHS Highlander community on as they pass by.
