OHHS Art and Design Student Recognized by Local Chick-Fil-A for Sculpture

One year ago on May 8, 2020, Susan Park was recognized by our Western Hills Chick-fil-a for her outstanding sculpture of her favorite Chick-fil-a meal; chicken nuggets, waffle fries and a drink.  Susan created the ceramic replica artwork in Ms. Dignan-Cummins’ Sculpture class. While the artwork was on display at the District Office, it caught the attention of Glenn Carson, our IT director who shared a picture of it with a contact at Chick-fil-a local corporate headquarters. This got the ball rolling and before we knew it, the Chick-fil-a cow showed up at Susan’s house to recognize her exceptional achievement. Susan and her family were given a certificate, hot meals, gift cards for future meals, a stuffed cow, balloons and more. Thank you Western Hills Chick-fil-a for honoring our students’ hard work.
